OUR HISTORY
In the spring of 1997, two women envisioned a Christian
school that would provide children with individualized instruction
in a small classroom environment. The school would incorporate innovative
curriculum techniques, fine arts, etiquette instruction, and high
behavioral standards to create a learning experience that children
would never forget.
Through answered prayers and hard work, Olney Adventist Preparatory
School opened in the fall of 1997 with two multi-age classrooms and
three teachers. Over the years, our school has expanded to eight classrooms
with students in Kindergarten through eighth grade.
In response to this tremendous growth, we are committed to a strategic
development plan. This includes a Kindergarten through eighth grade
school with single and multi-grade classrooms that enhance the needs
of both an elementary and middle school program.
We are accredited through the Middle
States Association of Schools and Colleges. We hold a certificate
of accreditation through the North
American Division of Seventh-day Adventists.
